What should I do if the soldered female header has solder spatter?
Use desoldering tools to clean up the spattered solder. Lower the soldering temperature to 320 - 340℃ and reduce the supply of solder wire. Keep the soldering iron tip perpendicular to the pins and move it at a uniform speed during soldering to avoid solder spatter.
Can 2.54mm pitch female headers be used for high-speed data transmission in complex circuits?
The 2.54mm pitch female headers are more suitable for medium to low-speed data transmission. If used in complex high-speed circuits, select models with signal optimization designs, and use them with high-speed PCB materials and differential signal transmission. At the same time, perform impedance matching and shielding to reduce signal interference.
What should I do if the female header becomes loose after long-term use?
Check if the fixing screws are loose due to vibration and tighten them. If there is a gap between the base and the circuit board, fill the gap with insulating glue for fixation. If the contact between the pins and the socket is loose, slightly adjust the pin angle to enhance the contact tightness.
